Welcome to Chocolate and Bacon! My name is Christa and I am a teacher in New Jersey. I've been blogging here on and off since 2010. In 2014 I renewed my interest in blogging and have been regularly updating the site since.

I blog abut a variety of things. Knitting, recipes, minimalism, outdoor adventures... really anything that catches my attention.

• Microwave Cheesecake Brownie in a Mug - This is my most popular post. It was picked up in a Reddit thread and receives heavy traffic as a result. The irony is that it's so different from the way I cook now. I don't even own a microwave!
• Apple Pie Pudding - Also an older recipe. I still like it as a summer snack.
• Bacon and Blue Cheese Buttermilk Scones - This is the best recipe I've ever made. They taste like heaven.
