San Francisco Part 2: Muir Woods and the coast

I like visiting the west coast because it makes me a morning person. It really helps to get up and out the door at a good hour when there's so much to see. Our second day in San Francisco took us north of the city to Muir Woods and along the coast.

My first glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge

You really can't help but spread your arms wide among these giants.

Salmon!

I'm a forest fairy.

Chris found a shovel and figured he would help out.

Texting.

Inside Muir Woods it was cloudy and wet. Once we left we saw why.

We also saw birds.
