Supporting My Word

This year I'm using the word "love" to guide my intentions.

One of the steps in Susannah Conway's Find Your Word mini-class is to brainstorm supporting words. These are words that in some way connect to your primary word. I liked this step a lot because it allowed me to expand my intention to the nuances of "love"

For me, the words that support my intention are:

Connection.

Joy.

Nourish.

Support.

Hygge.

Some days, "love" doesn't quite fit. If I'm struggling to feel love, I may be better off calling up "support" or "joy." To me, these are facets of love.

If you're curious about living with a set intention, check out Elise's podcast episode with Ali Edwards. Ali has been doing "One Little Word" for several years now.

Do you have any supporting words this year?
